Wool Studio Ancient Arts Giveaway

The Indulgence of Wool Studio

Innovative and stylish, this guilty-pleasure publication dedicates itself to great yarn and timeless wardrobe capsule pieces. My favorite part of working on Wool Studio is definitely the yarn. We get sent large color palettes of the yarn for laydown photography and I get to touch, squeeze, and admire them all.

But I do have to share, so I think it’s about time we have a giveaway!

This time, I have an amazing gradient set by Ancient Arts Fibre Crafts from the first Wool Studio!

Each skein in the City Girl line boasts 220 yards of 100% superwash
extrafine merino in a DK/light worsted-weight.

According to their website, Ancient Arts Fibre Crafts specializes in unique and unusual fiber offerings for those interested in working with exotic fibers and high-quality blends and cottons. This is the result of many years of trying to find superior exotic fibers, fiber preparations, and knitting yarns in a limited market.

Many spinners and knitters want something just a little different but don’t want to sacrifice quality, price, or time. All of their fibers, yarns, and tools are carefully selected to be of the highest quality while maintaining affordable prices.

Ancient Arts Fibre Crafts is used in the Truro Pullover by Amanda Scheuzger from knit.wear Wool Studio Vol 1. The Truro Pullover features garter rib and a fascinating raglan-sleeve construction. Worked from the bottom up in one piece, the pullover’s cable-ribbed sleeves are joined to the body and the unusual yoke is worked up to the collar.

Happy knitting, and good luck!
