Fabulous
I couldn't put it down once I started reading, capivated by every word and evey beautiful page! A very interesting read. So glad I purchased this fabulous book, I can't wait to make all of these beautiful wraps! Review by lori (Posted on 8/1/2015)
Beautiful!
This book has some really beautiful patterns in it. I've read a couple of Margaret Stove's articles about knitted lace pieces that she has restored and then created patterns based on the original pieces. I was happy to find two of those patterns in this book, both gorgeous.

It also has a nice section on lace knitting and finishing techniques. I haven't had time to do anything but leaf through it yet - I just got it - but the techniques section has excellent pictures.

I can't wait to get started on some of these patterns.

Wonderful!
I am both a knitter and crochter. I have been doing both for over 50 years. I became fascinated with European lace traditions ten years ago during a trip to the Czech Republic. This book is not only amazing in that even advanced beginners can knit the designs but it also offers a foundation for designing your own. A magnificent knitting journey! Great book
This book has some stunning knitted lace shawls. Any Lace addict out there will want to have it. I am currently working on one of her scarves. So far I am able to follow her instructions and I have only been knitting lace for this past year. Review by Ulda (Posted on 1/19/2014)
Highly recommended
I previously purchased this book so I could learn to knit fine lace shawls. Margaret Stove is so well known and her book provides great instruction and details on how to make your own lace shawl. I liked it so much, I purchased a second one to give my knitting friend. Review by Bonnie (Posted on 1/8/2014)
