Description
Picture the flare (and the flair!) of sewn-together vintage neckties and you have the inspiration for this dramatic striped skirt. It’s worked side to side – the stripes are horizontal as you knit – and shaped with short-rows. When you steam and press the colorful silk ribbon used, it smoothes into a drapey and elegant fabric. Several of the yarns are threaded with tiny beads that add a subtle sparkle when you twirl.
