Are you a rigid-heddle weaver looking to take your weaving to the next level? These videos are a must-watch if you want to get the most from your loom.

In the video Twice as Nice: Weaving with Two Heddles on a Rigid Heddle Loom, Liz demonstrates how to weave with two heddles on a rigid-heddle loom. She helps you discover the range of fabrics you can weave by increasing your heddle count. She starts with how to set up your loom using the direct warping method. Then it is onto the weaving! You will learn how to manage two heddles, place pick-up sticks and heddle rods, and create twill-a weaver's fan favorite. Liz will help you learn the techniques to get past those little stuck places, when things seem to be wrong and you don't know how to fix them. Then move on to the second video, where Liz goes through setting up the loom, placing pick-up sticks, weaving a variety of doubleweave patterns, and troubleshooting issues you may run into along the way. Doubleweave is one of the best reasons to use two heddles on the rigid-heddle loom. With a second heddle and a little know-how, you can weave fabric twice as wide as your loom's weaving width! You can also make a piece that is connected at both selvedges in a tube or weave cloth with interchanging pattern layers for amazing designs and dense cloth.
