Description
The indie revolution is in full swing and you are in the thick of it. You have put your pattern line together and set up online distribution in one outlet, but the market is crowded and you just aren’t getting the financial returns you desire.
The Independent Designer’s Guide Part 2 web seminar will focus on getting the most out of your existing product line and maximizing your return on the investment of time and money you made in getting your knit or crochet pattern company off the ground.
While every designer’s business is unique to him or her, there is some information that applies to everyone. In this web seminar, Mary Beth will spend a good deal of time talking about the many outlets you have to sell your patterns, both online and in print. Mary Beth will address how promotion and pricing affects sales, and the pros and cons of both paid advertising and group promotional ventures.
With this web seminar, you'll learn:
- A list of distribution outlets you may or may not have considered before, and how to analyze which are right for you
- Print distribution pros and cons
- Promotion opportunities and how to generate low or no cost marketing
- How to get the most out of the yarn support by accurately selecting yarn company partners which will work with you
- And more!
Mary Beth Temple is well known in both the crochet and knitting world as a creative force who knows how to publish on her own as well as working with well-known publishers. Mary Beth will use her own templates to help you work your way through the process and will give you the opportunity to ask questions and get answers from an expert.
