Description
Luisa Gelenter, the designer of this lovely yarn, calls the color of the yarn used in this airy pullover t rosada, an apt description of its rich modulating shades of rose and desert earth. The rustic qualities of her handpun and hand-dyed sportweight yarn lend themselves to the simple open stitch pattern used in this straightforward drop-shoulder design. With a simple two-row repeat, the pattern is easy to memorize; worked on big needles, its also quick to knit. Finishing is minimal: When the pieces have been sewn together, an almost invisible neckband is picked up around the neckline and completed in two rounds.
