Description
This simple-to-knit striped shrug is designed to be worn with Teva’s Babydoll Tunic (sold separately), but it makes a versatile extra layering piece on its own. The different fibers and gauges in the stripe patterns give a textural effect.
Finished Size: Small (Large); Circumference at top of Sleeve: 16 (20)”/40.5 (51)cm. Length Cuff-to-Cuff: 54 (58)”/137 (147.5)cm.
Yarn: Loop-d-Loop by Teva Durham Birch (90% cotton, 10% silk; 98 yd [90m]/50g): #04 poppy, 2 (3) balls. Loop-d-Loop by Teva Durham River (90% cotton, 10% cashmere; 103 yd [95m]/50g): #03 coffee, 2 (3) balls.
Yarn weight: #4 – Medium
Gauge: 12 sts and 15 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in St st using #11, and 20 sts and 30 rows in St st on #6 needle.
Needles: Size 11 & 6 (8 & 4mm): circulars, 16″/40cm long. Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
