Description
A generous cable makes a surprising sideways journey down the length of this chunky crochet scarf. A unique crochet cable method is worked in the middle of a single crochet fabric yielding a soft fabric with loads of drape.
Finished Size: 6" wide and 58" long, excluding fringe.
Yarn: Bernat Roving (80% acrylic, 20% wool); 120 yd [109 m]/3 ½ oz [100 g]; ): #15 squashed, 3 skeins.
Hook: Size M/13 (9 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Stitch markers (m); yarn needle; piece of cardboard that measures about 11"/28 cm wide for making fringe (a notebook works well).
Gauge: 8 sts = 4"; 5 rows = 2 ¼ " in sc blo.
