Just north of flagstaff, Arizona, the Arizona Snow Bowl features tons of great skiing. With 2,300 feet of drop on the trails, these challenging runs can be crisscrossing down the gray mountain sides from miles away. Even in the middle of summer, the top of Agassiz Peak, at an elevation of 12,360 feet, often has snow, and year-round visitors can get incredible scenic views of the Kachina Peaks Wilderness area from the ski-hill tram.
