Description
Clever placement of pivoting points gives the Quatrefoil Cups their shape. Katya Frankel employs modular techniques to work the garter-stitch vessels, which are then grafted up the sides.
Finished Size: 3″ wide across bottom and 3½ (4½ , 5)” tall.
Yarn: Berroco Vintage (50% acrylic, 40% wool, 10% nylon; 217 yd [200 m]/ 100 g): 1 skein per vessel. Vessels shown in #5105 oats (small), #5176 pumpkin (medium), and #5107 cracked pepper (large).
Yarn Weight: #4 – Medium
Needles: Size 6 (4 mm): any size circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Waste yarn; tapestry needle; size G/6 (4 mm) crochet hook; spare size 6 (4 mm) or smaller circular (cir) needle.
Gauge: 21 sts and 44 rows = 4″ in garter st.
