Worked out ok!
I purchased this pattern about a month ago and didn't have a couple of important tools. I ended using someone else's rolling mill, but the hole punch I found inexpensively. So, off we went. It actually turned out awesome. It took a couple of practice runs at getting the holes to line up perfectly. The hardest part was using my punch to get the spot where the lines crossed exactly, this makes a big difference! Now that I've done this, I'd really like to know how to apply the process of determining the number of holes needed for a larger surface. I actually had to purchase and learn to use the Vernier Caliper for this process. Now I want to do more. I'm a beginner jewelry maker. Review by Terri Fayle (Posted on 4/8/2012)
Nice project but tool list incomplete
To make this project you need more tools than what's listed. You'll need a rolling mill or similar, a punch, rulers, scribes, some kind of dapping block or shaping surface, and hammers to name a few. You'll need solder and patina to get the look in the photo. I don't recommend this tutorial for the novice. Review by Lisa Collett (Posted on 2/7/2012)
