Nalbinding is not knitting
Rating
I don't think one can equate knitted structures with single-needle looped structures like nalbinding. If I pull a knitted thread, the piece unravels. If I pull a nalbinded thread it just knots tighter. The two structures aren't alike at all. The diagram in your piece even shows how much they aren't alike. To call this "knitting" is a disservice to textile history. Review by ULTRAGOTHA (Posted on 12/25/2016)
