Specific Yarn Used: Berroco Ultra Alpaca (50% Peruvian wool, 50% superfi ne alpaca; 215 yd [198 m]/31?2 oz [100 g]): #6208 couscous, 7 (8, 8, 9, 10, 11) skeins.

Needles: Sizes 6 (4 mm): 40″ circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Guage: 23 sts and 36 rows = 4″ in Embossed Diamond patt; 23 sts and 40 rows = 4″ in Welted Rib
Notes:
- This cardigan is worked back and forth in one piece to the underarm, then the fronts and back are worked separately. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armhole and the sleeves are worked in the round from the top down.
- A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.
