The graphic mosaic stitch is an easy way to incorporate colorwork into your knitting without having to hold more than one color at a time. With a boxy shape and simple solid sleeves, this sweater is a great project for tackling mosaic knitting for the first time.

measures 38 1/2″, modeled with 4″ of
positive ease.
Yarn: Cascade Yarns Cascade 220 Sport
(100% Peruvian highland wool; 164 yd
[150 m]/1 3/4 oz [50 g]): #8010 natural (A),
3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 6) balls; #4002 jet (B), 5 (5, 6,
6, 7, 8) balls.
Needles: Bands – size 4 (3.5 mm): 16″ circular
(cir). Body – size 6 (4 mm). Sleeves –
size 5 (3.75 mm). Adjust needle size if
necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle.
Gauge: 21 sts and 42 rows = 4″ in
charted patt on largest needles; 22 sts
and 30 rows = 4″ in St st on medium-sized
needles.
