A fascination with fascinators led to this more subtle crochet hair clip-something that you can wear to work or to a wedding.
Finished Size: 5″ long, 3 ½” wide.
Yarn: Nazli Gelin Garden Metallic (99% mercerized egyptian giza cotton, 1% glitter yarn; 306 yd [280 m]/1 ¾ oz [50 g]): color #702-35, burgundy with magenta metallic, 1 ball. Thread distributed by Universal Yarns.
Yarn Weight: #0 – Lace
Hooks: 6 (1.6 mm) steel hook. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Small st markers (m); embroidery needle; seven 6 mm round beads with hole large enough for embroidery needle to pass through; 3 ¼” alligator-style hair clip.
Gauge: Through Rnd 10 of clip base = 2″ diameter.
