Description
The Watercolor Beret uses a simple but decorative stitch to show off the color changes in self-striping sock yarn.
Finished Size: 16″ brim circumference, to fit 18-20″ head.
Yarn: Schoppel Wolle Zauberball (75% superwash wool, 25% nylon; 459 yd [409 m]/100 g): color #1872, 1 skein. Yarn distributed by Skacel.
Yarn Weight: #1 – Super Fine
Needles: Size 2 (2.75 mm): 16″ circular (cir). Size 4 (3.5 mm): 16″ cir and set of double-pointed (dpn). Size 5 (3.75 mm): 16″ cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Marker (m); tapestry needle.
Gauge: 32 sts and 32 rnds = 4″ in patt st on largest needles.
