Intarsia and lace come together to create the Mismi Shawl, which is worked on the diagonal. The fabric is created from stitches picked up along part of the lace edging. This lets the fabric grow, as well as join the rest of the edging using intarsia.

Yarn: Quince & Co. Tern (75% wool,
25% silk; 221 yd [202 m]/50 g): oyster (light gray; MC), 2 skeins; Stonington (medium gray; CC), 1 skein
