Math for Knitters Part 2 shows you how a few numbers and simple calculations can help you be the boss of your knitting patterns!

Focusing on gauge adjustments and pattern alterations, we’ll provide solutions for customizing knitting patterns to your own specific needs. And if you’re interested in design, this class provides skills to get you started.

We’ll dive deep into gauge, explaining what it’s all about and why it matters. We’ll show you how to check your gauge, and then what do if you can’t match it. We’ll teach you how to figure out if it’s easy—and worth it—to adjust for gauge; and how to get it done with a minimum of fuss. We’ll also share simple solutions for when it might otherwise be too complicated.

Then we’ll talk about garment adjustments—including figuring out what adjustments you need, and the calculations to make them work. Along the way, Kate will work through lots of real-life examples to demystify the process and the numbers.

With this webinar, you'll learn:

  • How to properly measure gauge.
  • The significance of gauge for project size, garment fit, and yarn usage.
  • How to adjust pattern for a different gauge—mathematical and math-free solutions.
  • Garment alterations: Changing garment length and adding or removing body shaping.
  • Sleeve adjustments: Length, shaping, and fit.
  • Clever, math-light strategies for custom-fit garments.

Who should attend this webinar?

  • Knitters who can’t match gauge
  • Knitters who want to make adjustment to patterns
  • Knitters who are dipping their toes into garment customization and design

not satisfied, no reply from customer service
purchase the said webinar hoping it will help me, but instead it makes me more dizzy as what the other have commented, the slides and audio doesn't sync at all. It's hard to watch and understand at the same time.
I sent them first a notice for a refund via their Contact Us Form probably 3 or 4days ago, no reply, then I sent another email hoping to get a response from them again NO RESPONSE, on my 3rd attempt, I am now requesting them instead of a refund, maybe they can exchange another webinar and still no response from them.
Now, I'm not even sure if they have a customer service staff at all!

Math for Knitters 2
Honestly, I have to agree with the other 2 reviews.
I admire Kate Atherly and she's usually very informative.

The presentation was severely technically flawed, which made watching this very challenging. Afterwards, I did not receive the promised video link for two weeks- I had to ask for it.
I agree that a Craftsy type format would have been better.

I won't be purchasing this type of tutorial again

Audio with few drawings presented
For me, I am a visual learning person. The lessons did nothing for
me as the drawings went quicker on the screen than the audio speaking.
I agree with the previous reviewer ; Diane.. it would have been a better tutorial if the Teacher appeared on a like
presentation; i.e. we see the Tutor explaining the schematics + drawings.

Good Content, poor presentation
I love Kate Atherley's information. She's good. I would love to see this "Math for Knitters, Part 1 and Part 2" presented in a environment, where the presentation is good.

Unfortunately, the technical problems in Part 2 overwhelmed me and I couldn't finish listening/watching. The screens went faster than the audio, so I found myself listening to information that addressed a screen that had already gone by.

Part 2 was not worth the money.
