Excellent book
I have just recently started to weave. I just completed my first scarve and have picked up so many hints and problem solvers from this book. Thank you Debborah. Review by Elizabeth (Posted on 7/7/2016)

A book all beginning weavers should own
Learning to Weave by Deborah Chandler was highly recommended to me, by experienced weavers, as a quality book for beginners. I am finding it a comprehensive resource as I am teaching myself to warp and weave on my first four shaft loom. I will be recommending it to others. Review by Donnalynn (Posted on 12/22/2015)

Learning to Weave
This book has helped renew my interest in weaving. The warping up process is explained in several ways and I am no longer intimidated by it. She makes weaving fun for me again!!!! Review by Judith (Posted on 12/31/2014)
When I purchased my loom the instructions were in Swedish. I did not know anything about weaving other than I wanted to learn. That was 21 years ago. This book was what aided me in finding my way and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get started or to refresh memory. Review by Sandra (Posted on 12/1/2014)
Informative Book
Deborah Chandler's book, Learning to Weave, is just as informative now as it was when first published. I'm glad this helpful weaving book has been updated and reprinted in recent years. The illustrations are clear and the photographs are well-done although it would have been nice if the photographs had been printed in color instead of black and white. This will be a useful addition to my weaving library. Review by Kathryn (Posted on 4/28/2014)
Absolutely the best
I taught myself to weave nearly 20 years ago using Deborah's book (the previous edition) -- it is clearly written, easily understandable and the projects included will teach you basic concepts and structures that will provide a sound foundation for any weaving adventure you launch in the future. I was privileged to take a class from Deborah some years ago -- she is practical and extremely helpful while keeping the process fun, and her book reflects this. It's the best text to start with and to revisit when you need a refresher. Review by Jill M Lyon (Posted on 3/2/2012)
