SPECIFIC YARN USED Manos del Uruguay Maxima (100% merino wool; 219 yd [200 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #M2152 cherrywood (red-brown; MC), 2 (2, 3, 3, 3, 3) skeins; #M2293 leo (bronze; CC1), 3 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4) skeins; #M2333 lagoon (turquoise; CC2), #M2419 blueberry (dark blue; CC3), and #M2241 sand (off-white; CC4), 1 skein each. Yarn distributed by Fairmount Fibers.
NEEDLES Size 7 (4.5 mm): straight and 24″ circular (cir). Size 17 (12.75 mm): straight. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
NOTIONS Markers (m); removable m; stitch holders; tapestry needle; two 5/8″ x 7/8″ oval buttons.
GAUGE 18 sts and 12 rows = 4″ in Herringbone st on larger needles; 18 sts and 36 rows = 4″ in garter st on smaller needles.
