Description
The Santa Fe Belt replicates the geometric diamond patterns found in Native American basket weaving. The beads and fringe details enhance a trendy accessory that can be worn year round.
Finished Size: 2½” wide and 25 (27¾, 30¾, 33½, 36½)” long, excluding tails. Belt shown measures 25″.
Yarn: Cascade Yarns Ultra Pima (100% pima cotton; 220 yd [201 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #3717 sand, 1 skein
Needles: Size 5 (3.75 mm): straight and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Cable needle (cn); 225 (250, 275, 300, 325) size 6/0 seed beads; floss threader or beading needle; stitch holder; tapestry needle; ¼ yd fabric, matching thread, and sewing needle for lining (optional).
Gauge: 21 sts and 26 rows of Cable chart = 2½” wide and 2 7/8″ high.
