Description
It’s back to basics! Eunny Jang begins this episode with tips for reading a pattern.
Join knit and crochet designer Kristin Omdahl for the first installment of the Agua Rios Vest pattern. This feminine vest is a classic design for all ages. With lace panels on each side, the rest of the vest is relatively easy to knit with the shaping of the vest done by changing needle sizes. Kristin will get you started with a list of supplies and notions and demonstrate how to cast-on for this top-down knitted vest, showing you were to place the stitch markers for each portion of the vest.
Yarn Spotlight:
Clara Parkes is back as the yarn expert on Knitting Daily TV Series 1000. On this first episode she joins Eunny in the knitting lab for a look at yarns Made in America. Featured yarn is Brooklyn Tweed’s loft seen in the Faded Quilt colorway, a soft blue. This yarn is a 100% Targhee-Columbia wool spun in Harrisville.
Eunny wraps up this episode with quick tips for stopping a knitting project mid-knit as well as easy ways to resume a pattern when you decide to pick it back up again.
