Longer than necessary
Keum Boo is a simple process that involves burnishing gold leaf to silver and heating to bond the two metals together. This video shows you each step the teacher takes as he makes his own gold leaf in the rolling mill by passing the gold through again and again and again and again. (Although in fairness he says that most if us will simply buy the leaf.) He shows how to make a design template of a grass design and you get to watch as he cuts every single blade of grass. Separately. One at a time. With scissors. He goes over some some design principles and makes two sets of earrings. Excuse me, no. He makes two different pieces of metal with Keum Boo designs and says “simply attach ear wires.” One appears to have a post. When is the soldering done in the process? I have no clue from watching this video.

The video could have been cut by two thirds and not have suffered. , I generally like Interweave videos and have learned a tremendous amount from them. But I cannot recommend this video.
