Description
Children’s sweater with argyle-like heart pattern at chest, with buttons along front yoke to make it easy for kids to put on.
Finished Size: 24 (25 ½, 27 ¾)” chest circumference. Pullover shown measures 25 ½”, modeled with 1″ of positive ease.
Yarn: Berroco Vintage DK (50% acrylic, 40% wool, 10% nylon; 288 yd [263 m]/3 ½ oz [100 g]): #2145 cast iron (MC), 2 (3, 3) skeins; #21108 magenta (CC1) and #2105 oats (CC2), 1 skein each.
Needles: Size 6 (4 mm): 24″ circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Neck- size 5 (3.75 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle; 4 (4, 5) ¾” buttons; bobbins (optional).
Gauge: 21 sts and 30 rnds = 4″ in St st on larger needle.
