Finished Size: 32 (35¼, 39½, 43¾, 48)” bust circumference; fronts will not meet in the middle (see Notes). Cardigan shown measures 35¼”, modeled with about 1″ positive ease.
Yarn: Savoy (52% silk, 48% merino; 108 yd [99 m]/50 g): #002 light taupe, 8 (9, 11, 12, 14) skeins.
Yarn Weight: #3 – Light
Needles: Body and sleeves. size 8 (5 mm): 16″ and 29″ circulars (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge: 19 sts and 26 rows = 4″ in St st; 20 sts and 26 rows = 4″ in 1 – 1 rib; 24 sts and 26 rows = 4″ in modified 3 – 1 rib, unstretched.
