About the Expert:

Bonnie first picked up a crochet hook when she was seven years old after watching her neighbor crochet and has now been crocheting for more than forty years. She has been teaching crochet to the next generation through the church (Girls' GEMS Club) and home school communities for more than a decade. After winning best of show for the crochet department at the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair, Bonnie had some of her original patterns published. Bonnie holds a bachelor's degree in music education from the University of South Carolina and occasionally teaches music lessons in her home and loves leading worship for preschoolers at her church. She also enjoys teaching algebra, geometry, history, government, chemistry and, of course, crochet classes.
