learning while watching - and learning by doing!

Helen Driggs - great artist! Have learned a lot from her and her colleagues.
Before working with my own ideas, I tried to get to know the different techniques and possibilities and materials of jewelry making. This video is another addition to the downloads by Helen Driggs. - Each craftsman and each artist has his own way. So I have always learned something, even when comparing the techniques.
Spirals - a never ending theme in the entire universe - for me fascinating and in terms of symbols in jewelry design an archaic favorite topic . To Helen and all this talented artists: Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

Fluff
This has to be the worst video I've bought from Interweave. She spent way too much time on spirals (anyone who's picked up a beading or wire working magazine knows about spirals), they're that basic. Hand made tubes were I guess theoretically interesting but truly how useful? Convince me by making a finished project with them. She was just getting to what I thought - because of the preview and description - was the meat of the video, hammer folding, when she quit...without finishing anything. very disappointing
I was expecting a LOT more for $30. no complete projects just some techniques. I suppose if you have never hammered wiire or metal you may find it interesting. Review by Metalsmith (Posted on 6/4/2014)
