Description
Broomstick lace integrates beautifully with regular crochet pattern stitches in this cap-sleeve cardigan with a soft collar that drapes around the shoulders and folds over to form the open V front. Roomy armholes allow for layering, as internal shaping minimizes bulk in this seamless cardigan. The simple, straight, hip-length body is easily adjusted for length. Stretchy and forgiving in fit, this cardi may be worn loosely open in front, or overlapped and wrapped with a belt.

Gauge: 15 sts = 4″ in fsc or sc. In broomstick and V-st patt: 4 reps broomstick eyes or V-sts and 8 rows = 4″, unblocked. In no-stick broomstick of belt: 1 rep = 3?4″; 4 rows = 4″.
Needles: Size H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook.
