As small glass pixels of color and light, beads add a layer of beauty to all fabric-based projects like no other medium can! The Beading Queen and instructor Nancy Eha has spent over 20 years exploring and teaching beading to students worldwide. This course is based on Nancy’s personal beading techniques which she calls "crazy beading" – beading inspired by the opulent embroidery on traditional crazy quilts.

Filled with short videos, images, patterns, detailed instructions and easy-to-follow steps, you’ll learn how to create small beaded flowers, leaves, vines, grapes, and berries. Plus, gain the confidence to explore and create additional plant life with your new beading skills. Share images of your work and ask questions of your fellow students in the class discussion boards.

Get ready to explore both traditional and new fabric beading stitches as you create a bounty of beaded botanical beauties in this online workshop!

About the Instructor
Nancy Eha, also known as The Beading Queen to her students, has taught thousands worldwide. She enjoys sharing her knowledge, passion and pleasure for beading on fabric with others. Her articles and beading have been featured in scores of magazines and books, including several Quilting Arts issues. Nancy has written two fabric beading books which include beading basics as well as her innovative beading techniques such as crazy beading and elevated beading. She uses beads as primary focal points on fabric – not to add “mere sparkle.” Some describe her work as “obsessively beaded,” and she agrees. Nancy continues to develop innovative beading techniques as she explores “bead physics” and create magical works of art.
