Description

Want a summer vacation any time of the year?

In this Art Lesson, Jenny Cochran Lee has this to say about sneaking in a summer-inspired art getaway:

"While most of my summer days consist of cleaning out closets, packing camp lunches, or driving kids to the pool, I dream about beach getaways where I sit in a lounge chair and drink fruity drinks from a coconut shell. The colors in this dream are tropical: the orange-yellow of a mango, the juicy pink of a watermelon slice, the turquoise of a salty sea, and the sunny yellow of freshly cut pineapple slices. During the hot summer months, these colors really speak to me."

In this Art Lesson, you’ll learn how to take the vibrant, bright colors of summer to create a collaged rice paper table runner.
