Mixed-media artist Dina Wakley believes color exploration is important to the overall design of your artwork—and she isn’t scared to try new techniques! With Art Lessons: Fixing Color Issues with Black and White, you will learn the benefits to using neutrals. Some artists may believe that black should not be used in painting, but in art journaling, the medium is there as a point of discovery. From creating reflection to wanting to overpower other pieces in your art, black and white colors become your newest friend. The three projects are some of Dina’s favorite ways to use neutrals, and this art lesson also features bonus art ideas! Put your creativity to the test and explore innovative ways of art journaling.

For enjoying your new Art Lesson on smart phones or tablets, we recommend using the free Adobe Reader App.
