Fantastic
I made these socks years ago from the magazine, many pairs of them, as I loved the pattern so much and they fit better than any other pair I tried. Of course I gave the magazine away when cleaning, so now I've purchased the pattern again I loved it so much. Review by Natalie (Posted on 3/11/2014)
Love this pattern!
Love this pattern, beautiful socks! Had to go up a hook size but it's probably just my crocheting tension...love it! Review by Jessica Collins (Posted on 4/28/2011)
Frustrated with these socks
I love the look of these socks, and I tried to figure them out for a few days. I ripped out so many stitches and still couldn''t manage to get it right. The underside of the heel is really the problem. When you get around to the top of the foot, it just tells you to continue in the established shell pattern, but if you do that (starting with a shell in the marked sc on the edge), you end up increasing stitches instead of decreasing like you''re supposed to be. I think there might be a mistake in the pattern? I tried several different ways of approaching it, yet I still managed to somehow be increasing every round. If you''re not a super experienced sock crocheter, I would steer away from this pattern. Review by Moriah Strong (Posted on 10/21/2010)
