Best video on colour work
This is my favorite Video Download of all. ( and I have many )
I can use the colour wheel theory. But I like this better, because, what many of us knitters ,crochet or textile artist have, is a large stash of yarn which is all the colours of the rainbow. in all the tints, shades and tones.
What Laura teaches you is, how to use all or any combination of those colours in one project, and still look beautiful. You will have the skill for using colour for the rest of your life.
I have had a lot of success with my crochet, knitting and bead work since I first watched the Video. I have watched the video again and again for pleasure and learnt even more each time.

Clear guidance, excellent demonstration
Laura Bryant does a remarkable job in teaching color combination for a wide range of effects. The DVD was so engaging, I bought a set of Color Aid cards to work on recognizing color relationships so I can be more successful in combining yarn colors. Another reviewer thought no knitted garments were used as demos, but many were knit, with techniques demonstrated on Knitting Daily TV episodes. Ms Bryant's teaching method seems to be accessible to a broad range of artistic/fiber aficionados, from beginner to experienced. I love this DVD--even tell my fiber friends that I "took a color class with Laura Bryant, so I've learned a little more about color." ;-) Review by Amy (Posted on 7/13/2014)
Good info, no knitting
Good info, well presented. She sorts a stash of yarn, as promised in the preview, and teaches you how to do it. Only complaint is that there were no knit examples, only woven examples. I would like to see how she moved from a yarn wrap to a knitted piece. Definitely recommend it. Review by Maurette Foster (Posted on 4/12/2011)
A Knitter's Guide to Color with Laura Bryant (Download)
Laura's explanations and demonstrations of colour grading and how colours can alter depending on what they are placed with are fantastic. She has an enthusiastic and easy-to-listen-to delivery. After years of trying, this video has broken through the barriers and I feel I've finally got the concept and can see that the knowledge will help me with my watercolour attempts as well as knitting and felting. I bypassed the Guide when it was a postage-only DVD. Thank you Interweave for making it downloadable. Review by Roberta Cook (Posted on 3/13/2011)
