Description

This sweet cap is a study in pure wool and classic lines, with architectural shaping that, felted, blurs into structured softness.

Finished Size: 23″ brim circumference.
Yarn: O-Wool Classic Worsted (100% certified organic merino wool; 99 yd [90 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #9103 ash (MC), 3 skeins; #4411 begonia (A), 1 skein; #6402 saffron (B), small amount for center of flower.
Yarn Weight: #4 – Medium
Needles: Cloche. size 10½ (6.5 mm): 16″ circular (cir) and set of 4 double-pointed (dpn). Flower. size 10 (6 mm): straight. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle.
Gauge: 14 sts and 19 rnds = 4″ in St st with 2 strands of MC held together on larger needles, before felting; 15 sts and 20 rnds = 4″ after felting.
