Yarn: The Plucky Knitter Primo Fingering (75% extra fine Italian superwash merino wool, 20% cashmere, 5% nylon; 385 yd [352 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): dive bar (blue; MC), 4 (5, 5, 6, 6) skeins; wintry mix (light gray; CC), 2 (2, 2, 2, 3) skeins.
Needles: Size 8 (5 mm): 32" circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle; eight ¾" toggle buttons.
Gauge: 21 sts and 28 rows = 4" in k3, p3 rib with MC held double; 20 sts and 28 rows = 4" in St st with MC held double.
