Use a slip-stitch pattern to create this versatile knitted cowl pattern. Wear this perfect accessory all year long!

Description

Nothing beats a long cowl for versatility because you can wear it so many ways. Make it in two lightweight chainette yarns in complementary tones of gray and you have the perfect accessory for year-round wear. An easy slip-stitch pattern highlights the colors and textures of Maai, a springy alpaca and merino blend, and Rain, a drapey cotton yarn. Yell Island, part of the Shetland archipelago, features similar contrasts in color and texture in its rock formations and peat bogs.
