Two rich shades of worsted-weight wool alternate between shells and straight single crochet. This extra-long cowl is worked flat and seamed, but this step could be skipped to make a scarf. Choose colors from the same family as shown, or go for shades that are highly contrasting, complementary, or whatever you desire!

Hook Size: I/9 (5.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions: Yarn needle.

Gauge: 5 shs and 10 rows = 4″ in patt, blocked.
