Description

The lattice pattern is achieved by working vertical strips as part of the main body, each with a separate length of yarn. Contrasting strips are then woven through as you finish.



Finished Size: 40 (45 1/4, 48, 53 1/4, 56)” bust circumference. Cardigan shown measures 40″, modeled with 6″ of positive ease.
Yarn: JBerroco Blackstone Tweed (65% wool, 25% mohair, 10% angora; 130 yd [119 m]/1 3/4 oz [50 g]): #2607 wintry mix (MC), 9 (10, 11, 12, 13) balls; #2601 clover honey (CC), 3 (3, 3, 4, 4) balls. #4 Medium
Needles: Sizes 7 (4.5 mm) and 9 (5.5 mm): 32″ circulars (cir). Size 7 (4.5 mm): set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle; bobbins.
Gauge: 18 sts and 26 rows = 4″ in St st on smaller needle.
