Description

The Worthington Gansey features crisp, textured stitch motifs and gusset shaping to give a new look to the classic gansey sweater.

Finished Size: 35 1/2 (37 1/4, 39 1/4, 41, 43, 44 3/4, 46 3/4, 48 1/2)” bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 37 1/4″, modeled with 3 1/4″ of positive ease.

Yarn: Spud & Chloe Fine (80% superwash wool, 20% silk; 248 yd [227 m]/2 1/4 oz [65 g]): #7814 shitake, 6 (6, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8) skeins. Yarn distributed by Blue Sky Alpacas.

Needles: Size 4 (3.5 mm): 16″ and 24″ circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m, two in a contrasting color); cable needle (cn); stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 30 sts and 32 rnds = 4″ in St st.
