Tunisian knit stitch creates a fabric that’s denser and less stretchy than fabric knitted with stockinette stitch. This simple technique combined with full-fashion shaping creates a warm, form-flattering cardigan. Lace trim at the cuffs and hem add a feminine touch.

Yarn: Classic Elite Wool Bam Boo (50% wool, 50% bamboo; 118 yards [108 m]/1 ¾ oz [50 g]; CYCA-standard yarn weight system-3): #1648, denim blue, 14 (15, 17, 19, 21) balls.
Yarn weight: #3 – Light
Gauge: 23 sts and 22 rows = 4″ in Tunisian knit stitch on larger hook. The row gauge consists of forward pass and return pass counted as 1 row. Be sure to wash your swatch.
Needles: Hooks: Size G/6 (4 mm) 22″ long flexible Afghan (Tunisian) hook and size E/4 (3.5 mm). Adjust hook sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
