The dynamic Winter Sunset Shawl is worked back and forth in rows, beginning with a few cast-on stitches and increasing at one side to create an asymmetrical triangle. The stripes are worked in a combination of stockinette, garter-stitch, and a slip-stitch pattern using three colors of a cozy worsted-weight wool.

Needles: Size 8 (5 mm): 32″ circular (cir) and two double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle.

Gauge: 16 1/2 sts and 32 rows = 4″ in garter st.
