Description

Worked in one piece to the arms and knit in a wool-cotton blend.

Difficulty: Intermediate
Yarn Weight: 3
Finished Size: 34 ¼ (40, 45 ¾, 51 ¼, 57, 62½)” circumference at underarm, buttoned. Cardigan shown measures 40″; modeled with 1″ of negative ease.
Yarn: GGH Volante (55% new wool, 45% cotton; 142 yd [130 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #13 Kiwi, 8 (10, 11, 13, 15, 16) balls. Yarn distributed by Trendsetter Yarns.
Needles: Sizes 5 (3.75 mm) and 6 (4 mm): 24″ circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders or waste yarn; tapestry needle; 6 (6, 7, 7, 7, 8) 1½” buttons.
Gauge: 20 sts and 27 rows = 4″ in lace patt on larger needle.
