Description

The body of this cardigan is worked back and forth in one piece from the bottom up. The sleeves are worked in the round from the bottom up and are sewn in. This is a great project for experienced knitters looking to make an intricate cardigan.

Finished Size: 19 1/4 (21 1/4, 23 1/4, 25 1/4, 27 1/4, 29 1/4, 31 1/4)” back width at underarm. Cardigan shown measures 191/4″ on model with 35 3/4″ bust.

Specific Yarn Used: GGH Volante (55% Merino wool, 45% cotton; 142 yd [130 m]/13/4 oz [50 g]): #9 Grey, 9 (10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16) balls. Yarn distributed by The Trendsetter Yarn Group.

Needles: Size 6 (4 mm): 32″ circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary, to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); removable m; stitch holders; spare size 6 (4 mm) or smaller 32″ cir needle; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 24 sts and 34 rows = 4″ in St st.
