This cardigan’s sweet pleats, unusual welted waistband, and gracefully belled sleeves make dramatically good use of a supple bamboo-and-soy blend.

Finished Size: 33 ¼ (37 ½, 41 ¼, 45 ½, 49 ½)” bust circumference. Cardigan shown measures 33 ¼”, modeled with about 1″ positive ease.
Yarn: Schulana Sojabama (55% bamboo, 45% soy; 120 yd [110 m]/50 g): #08 orange-yellow, 7 (8, 9, 10, 11) balls. Yarn distributed by Skacel.
Yarn weight: #3 – Light
Gauge: 21 sts and 28 rows = 4″ in St st on larger needles.
Needles: Sizes 6 (4 mm) and 4 (3.5 mm): straight. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Cable needle (cn); tapestry needle; waste yarn; seven hook-and-eye sets; sewing needle and matching thread.
