It’s a lightweight but insulating sweater — perfect for layering — made with a DK-weight yarn of wool and cotton. Cables add a rich texture to the fabric, and the soft green color mimics the new growth of springtime. Now you can go with the flow in high and low temperatures.

Finished Size: 331/4 (383/4, 44, 491/4, 543/4, 60)" bust circumference, buttoned. Cardigan shown measures 383/4"; modeled with 13/4" of negative ease.

Specific Yarn Used: Green Mountain Spinnery Cotton Comfort (80% wool, 20% organic cotton; 180 yd [165 m]/2 oz [57 g]): leaf, 9 (10, 11, 12, 14, 15) skeins.

Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm): 32" circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); cable needle (cn); stitch holders; waste yarn; tapestry needle; seven 1" buttons.

Gauge: 24 sts and 28 rows = 4" in charted patt.
