Description

The Vermilion Peak Pullover blends color and texture in perfect harmony for a classic, outdoorsy, and comfortable menswear sweater. This casual pullover is worked from the top down with raglan shaping.

Finished Size: 29 (33½ , 36¼ , 39¼ , 42¼ , 45, 49½ , 53)” chest circumference. Pullover shown measures 36¼ “; modeled with 3¾ ” of negative ease.

Specific Yarn Used: Baa Ram Ewe Dovestone Natural Aran (50% bluefaced Leicester wool, 25% Wensleydale longwool, 25% Masham wool; 185 yd [170 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #1 ecru (MC), 4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8) skeins; #5 brown (CC), 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4) skeins.

Needles: Sizes 6 (4 mm) and 8 (5 mm): 24-40″ circular (cir), depending on size you are making, and set of double-pointed (dpn). Size 7 (4.5 mm): 16″ cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 19 sts and 26 rnds = 4″ in St st on largest needle; 22 sts and 26 rnds = 4″ in Bark st on largest needle.
