Plush intertwined cables twist their way into an allover pattern on the Vane Cabled Ruana. Worked in three separate pieces then seamed together, the simple construction and relaxed fit make this an easy piece to knit and wear.

Finished Size: 26 ¼ (30, 34)” back width. Ruana shown measures 30″ back width on model with 41″ bust.

Specific Yarn Used: Sugar Bush Yarns Crisp (100% extrafine superwash Merino wool; 95 yd [87 m]/ 1 ¾ oz [50 g]): #2018 Titanium, 14 (16, 19) balls.

Needles: Sizes 3 (3.25 mm) and 5 (3.75 mm): 40″ circular (cir). Size 3 (3.25 mm): one double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Cable needle (cn); stitch holders; size G/6 (4 mm) crochet hook; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 25 sts and 27 rows = 4″ in charted patt on larger needle.
