What do you get when you mix chic newsprint beads with black lava stones? Okay, so we don’t have a clever punch line…just a clever accessory! Here, Erin combines both of the above components with olive-colored crystals to create the perfect amount of pizzazz. And because stringing, wire wrapping and chain links are involved in the making, this is a great project for those wanting to test a variety of techniques.

Finished Size: 32″ (Shortest Strand)
Required Materials: 14 bronze size 11° seed beads, 14 black 4x3mm glass-tile rondelles, 7 olive 8mm crystal rounds, 13 black 8mm lava-rock rounds, 3 rutilated quartz 10x17mm twisted ovals, and 7 black-and-taupe 20x30mm fabric-covered wood ovals with newsprint design.
Tools: Wire cutters, round-nose pliers, and chain- or flat-nose pliers.
