Description

The Two Cables Socks are made for both everyday adventures and long journeys. These socks are worked from the toe up and use a peasant heel.

Difficulty Level: Intermediate
Finished Size: 7¾ (8¼)” foot circumference and 9¼ (10½)” long from back of heel to tip of toe; foot length is adjustable. Socks shown measure 8¼”.
Yarn: Madelinetosh Twist Light (75% merino wool, 25% nylon; 420 yd [384 m]): fog, 1 skein.
Needles Size: 2 (2.75 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); cable needle (cn); waste yarn for heel; tapestry needle.
Gauge: 29 sts and 43 rnds = 4″ in St st; 26 sts at center of Cable chart = 2-3/8 ” wide, relaxed.
