Description

This easy cowl is just a rectangle of knitting, all in garter stitch, with a simple accent of four buttons to keep it closed. The whole project only requires one skein of knitting, making it a great stash busting project.

Finished Size: 5 ¼” wide and 26″ long.
Yarn: Berroco Blackstone Tweed (65% wool, 25% mohair, 10% angora; 130 yd [119 m]/50 g): #2637 plum island, 1 skein.
Yarn weight: #4 – Medium
Gauge: 18 sts and 32 rows (16 ridges) = 4″ in garter st.
Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm) needles. Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle, four 3?4″ buttons.
